 We’re not just another landscaping company - we’re a team with a deep-rooted passion for what we do and the people we serve. Founded by Sebastiao and Kristin Paiva, Solution Driven Landscaping was built on a foundation of hard work, integrity, and a shared vision to do things differently.

Backed by decades of combined experience, a dedicated team of professionals, and a fleet of modern equipment, we provide full-service landscaping and snow management across Massachusetts. From large commercial properties and HOAs to churches, schools, and residential homes, we bring the professionalism of a larger company with the care and responsiveness of a team that’s truly invested. 

Sebastiao Paiva

Co-Founder & Director of Operations 

Sebastiao was born in a small town in Espírito Santo, Brazil, where he grew up working alongside his family on a coffee farm. Rising before dawn, Sebastiao spent his days caring for the land and learning from his grandfather - lessons that would plant the seeds for his lifelong connection to nature, hard work, and dedication.

In 1999, Sebastiao made the courageous decision to move to the United States alone. He arrived in Massachusetts with no knowledge of English and no connections, but a clear determination to build something meaningful. He enrolled in English classes, got a job with a landscaping company, and began learning everything he could - about the language, the industry, and the equipment. His strong work ethic and passion for learning propelled him forward.

Over the next 15 years, Sebastiao rose through the ranks at a leading landscape and snow company, ultimately becoming Director of Operations. He managed teams of over 45 landscape employees, hundreds of snow shovelers, and numerous subcontractors across commercial and residential properties. It was during this time that he met Kristin.

Kristin Paiva

Co-Founder & Director of Internal Operations

 Kristin was born and raised in Massachusetts. She began her career in the corporate world at The MITRE Corporation, where she quickly rose through the ranks to become the youngest Office Coordinator in the company’s history - all while earning her degree in business and accounting through night classes.

After several years in the corporate sector, Kristin transitioned into the landscaping and snow industry, where she found her long-term professional home. Over the next two decades, she managed finance, operations, and HR for multiple companies, eventually becoming the Director of Finance & Human Resources at the same company where she and Sebastiao first met.

After years of working together and eventually getting married, Kristin and Sebastiao decided to take everything they had learned and pour it into a company of their own. They didn’t just want to start a business - they wanted to build a team, create opportunity, and serve clients with transparency, care, and results that speak for themselves.

Today, Solution Driven Landscaping is known for our responsive service, detailed craftsmanship, and commitment to building long-term relationships. Our team is growing, our equipment is always evolving, and our standards remain high.
