Seeded lawns will necessitate additional overseeding by the homeowner or customer during the initial years following installation. While sod instantly establishes a lawn, it comes at a higher cost. Seeding and hydroseeding require time and typically one to three additional years of seeding to realize the lawn's full potential. Whether it's a new or established lawn, aeration and overseeding are essential.

We offer an aeration and overseeding (AO) service to all our customers in the fall, as the period between late August and mid-October is optimal for seeding. Feel free to request an estimate for this service.

Plant Warranty

The successful growth of landscape plants is contingent upon the care they receive. Adequate soil quality, sufficient watering, and proper drainage are imperative for the flourishing of your plants.

Solution Driven Landscaping guarantees that plants are true to their names and in a healthy state when installed by our team. It is the responsibility of the property owner or customer to provide these plants with adequate water, fertilizer, and treatments for disease and pests to maintain their health. Failure to adhere to the provided watering guidelines will render the warranty void.

Newly installed landscape plants may undergo transplant shock, especially during hot summer months. Proper care is vital to minimize stress. Trees and shrubs are covered by a one-year warranty from the date of installation and will be replaced once within this warranty period if they perish. Please note that annuals, perennials, bulbs, and ground cover are not covered by the warranty. Solution Driven Landscaping will conduct warranty replacements during the optimal planting seasons, typically occurring between May 1st and June 30th, as well as between September 1st and October 31st. These timeframes may be subject to adjustment based on weather conditions, scheduling, and availability, as determined by Solution Driven Landscaping.

The plant warranty is applicable for one year from the installation date and covers the cost of the plants themselves only. It does not encompass replacement labor, “Acts of God,” human-made calamities, perennials, annuals, transplants, or plants lacking support from an underground drip line irrigation system. Moreover, the warranty does not apply to transplants. It is contingent upon maintaining a good standing and current account.

Solution Driven Landscaping bears no responsibility for replacing plants damaged or killed by animals, pests, insect infestations, diseases, salt/calcium exposure (in proximity to roads and walkways), unusual and extreme weather conditions (such as unseasonably low winter temperatures, strong winds, floods, droughts, etc.), or other factors beyond our control. The warranty will also not cover plants experiencing “seasonal die-back,” as these can typically be restored to health through pruning and proper care. Transplanting, replanting, or relocating landscape plants from their original positions will nullify the warranty. Freight, labor, and additional expenses are not covered. The warranty is solely valid for plants installed between April 15th and October 31st and necessitates the presence of an automatic irrigation system on the property for validity.

The following plants are exempt from this warranty: annuals, azaleas, various white birch (Betula) varieties, butterfly bush (Buddleja), all varieties and cultivars of boxwood (Buxus), blue beard (Caryopteris), redbud (Cercis), all varieties and cultivars of cypress (Cuprocyparis), Douglas fir, Fraser fir, all varieties and cultivars of ilex (holly), mountain laurel (Kalmia), ornamental grasses, perennials, Andromeda (Pieris), Austrian pine varieties (Pinus), all varieties and cultivars of oak (Quercus), roses (Rosa), rhododendron, and all varieties and cultivars of hemlock (Tsuga).

This warranty is contingent upon the payment of the original invoice being made within the terms of the sale and the account being current.

Please be aware that all orders for landscape plants are accepted under these conditions, and no other warranties, whether explicit or implicit, shall apply.
